Jesus teaches that we are to serve our community and the world. This is done through serving both people’s physical and spiritual needs. We are actively involved in our community and we help to send people outside our borders to serve. In one way or another, the people of Calvary Chapel support missionaries in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the United States. Two former pastors and several former members of Calvary Chapel are now international missionaries. We also support community outreach organizations such as New Horizons, a ministry to street kids in Seattle.
